After just posting about Old Navy's new simple and chic sequin canvas bags, I can't believe that I am back again...completely enamored with yet another canvas bag at Old Navy!  I promise this is the last post I do on Old Navy OR canvas bags this week, but this was just too good to resist!  Check out Old Navy's newest bag for spring, the Women's Canvas Rope-Trim Beach Tote!

At only $16.50, I may just have to splurge on this bag in two colors!  I also really like the orange...

It really is so similar to this 44 Knots bag that I had my eye on last summer, but that at $150 for a simple cloth tote was a little out of my league!

One of my favorite catalogs which I look forward to every season is Serena and Lily!  Serena and Lily specializes in colorful luxe fabrics and unique Asian and Middle Eastern inspired furniture and home accessories.  Like so many of the pieces in Serena and Lily's beautiful collection, I have had my eye on this bamboo lacquered nightstand for some time...

At $99 this bamboo shelving unit is a fraction of the price!  All you need is a can of spray paint in your color of choice, and you will up the luxe factor on this bookshelf immediately! 

I think it would look great in an entry way in red or black and gold, or wonderful in a Nursery in white!

A few years ago my husband and I were lucky enough to take a trip to Paris for a friend's wedding, and I remember on our trip being completely blown away by the fashion, and totally enamored with the simple but chic canvas and sequin bags that I saw so many Parisian women toting around in every color imaginable.

I soon found out that the chic French version of the States' L.L. Bean Boat and Tote was by French Designer Vanessa Bruno.  Here's a peek....

Hello Readers!  Sorry for the long break...this is my busiest time of year at work, but luckily there is an end in sight!  I am coming up on the tail end of a very busy month, and I hope to have more time for LL4L soon!

At the time  our boss prepared both of us for our first introduction, and warned us that, "you two are VERY DIFFERENT!"  My boss's warning scared me...how different could I be from Alex?  Well it turns out that Alex and I could not have more in common, and we ended up going shopping the first day we met at the J. McLaughlin Outlet nearby!  7 years later, we still laugh that anyone could think that we were that different...we have so much in common from our favorite wine to our obsession with vintage Lilly shifts!

Happy New Year!  2010 will always hold many wonderful memories for me, including the beginning of this blog!
