Do you ever want to wear black and orange together, but you just can't tell if it looks like you are dressing too much like a pumpkin??

Today's look is inspired by building an outfit with orange and black staples that is chic and can be worn even when it's not Halloween!

And if you like any of the items in this outfit from Old Navy or Banana Republic, check out their websites for how you can get 30% off all of these featured styles today!

Piperlime is one of my favorite sources for shoes...they have an incredible selection, plus free shipping and returns!  Who could ask for more when it comes to finding footwear?!

And this weekend my sister reminded me that if you are a Gap, BR, or Old Navy card holder than every Tuesday you can receive 10% off your order at Piperlime with the code TUESDAYS.  I know this isn't a huge discount, but when it comes to finding a good deal I believe that every bit counts!

So today I thought I would share my favorite basic high heel which you can find at Piperlime...all of us should have a classic nude and black pump in our wardrobe, and if you at least have these two staples in your wardrobe than you will always have a shoe to complete your look for going out!

I own this shoe by Corso Como in nude and I have worn it so many times...I'm going to buy it in black soon!
In my opinion this classically designed pump rivals the look of the much more expensive Christian Louboutin version, minus the red heel of course!  But without the red heel, you keep the mystery going!  Speaking of, did any of you read the article on the rise of Manolo Blahnik, and how the famous red heel is starting to decline in popularity as it could be seen as too obvious a sign of what you spend on your shoes?  I would love to hear people's thoughts on this trend as I still have a pair of my own Louboutins at the top of my splurge wishlist!

And while we are talking about the great value of Corso Como shoes...check out their version of the riding boot.  I have this in black and have received so many compliments on it!  It is such a beautiful and versatile boot for a reasonable price!

Do you have a favorite shoe for fall?

Happy Shopping!

A coffee table is such a key piece for any living space.  Now that we are tightly packed in a one bedroom with a baby in NYC and we sadly had to say goodbye to our dining table, we find ourselves spending more time than ever gathered around our coffee table for most meals and get togethers with friends and visitors.

I recently spotted this glass topped cocktail table from JCPenny and I love it's clean lines and modern design...and at $329 I think it's a great deal!
It reminds me of some of these more expensive modern designs from Room and Board...

This one is still a good deal at $409!

And this one is definitely a splurge at over a $1000, but it's such a classic design!

Do you have a cocktail table that you have your eye on?

J.Crew is offering a special sale this weekend of 25% off any order of $150 or more plus free shipping with the code LOVEFALL!  Although a 25, 30, or even 40% off discount on full price items has started to become common place at certain retailers (who I love and that will remain nameless) 25% off on in season, full price merchandise at J.Crew does not come by that often...and that makes it an even sweeter deal!

Here are a few of my top picks and what I would love to be taking home from the sale this weekend!

Since having a baby over two months ago I must say that almost nothing fits me like it used to, except this Pixie Pant from J.Crew!  I cannot stress how much I love this pant!  It has the comfort of a legging but the style of a tailored pant.  It goes with everything and even fits my post baby curves!  I have the black but with this discount I'm tempted to get the charcoal!

I might be splurging on the red coat this weekend too...but I'm still undecided!

Thoughts?

Happy shopping and weekend!

Once again I must apologize for my long absence!  Those of you who have children hopefully will sympathize with my lack of posts this fall as I get used to being a stay at home mom for my sweet baby girl!

Things are going really well for us so far, but I must say that it is harder than I ever imagined, and our sweet daughter just loves to be held which has made it even harder for me to get back to work on Living Luxe for Less!

Please stick with me though because I do hope to be getting back to more regular posts soon.

In the meantime, I'm also just starting to get back to the gym, and I was amazed to see this cute activewear at Old Navy which is so similar to the much more expensive Lululemon!

If you need some new clothes to work out in, and you want to save your splurges for something you aren't going to sweat in, check out this cute new line by Old Navy!

Happy shopping...and sweating!
