I am a huge fan of David Yurman's classic and elegant line of fine jewelry.
And on one very special occasion my husband was generous enough to surprise me with a beautiful gift from David Yurman...the day of our wedding when he gave me the most beautiful bangle as my wedding gift.
But since not every day can be as special as your wedding, and since this beautiful line of jewelry is really the most luxurious of splurges...I was so excited to find these beautiful "gemstone" earrings at the Loft that definitely give the air of David Yurman, but for a FRACTION of the price!
I along with thousands of other loyal Target shoppers was SO excited for the Target launch of Missoni! I put the date on my calendar, and I was even lucky enough to recruit my mother in law to babysit my daughter while I went out with a good friend to brave the big Missoni launch at Target!Unfortunately our arrival at Target at 10am was just not soon enough! By the time we got to the store in Harlem they were wiped out of every single Missoni for Target piece they had been shipped, and apparently they were cleaned out of these items by 8:15am...and the store opened at 8am!Well imagine my delight while browsing at the Athleta on 3rd Avenue when I spotted this very Missoni-esque scarf in the unlikeliest of places! Elegant knit scarves and gym attire don't usually go together for me, but that did not diminish my excitement!
I'm sorry I couldn't get in on a piece of the Target action on Tuesday...but I happily took home this beautiful black, gray, and purple Missoni-esque scarf on Friday and I will be wearing it with pride this winter!
I'm slowly trying to find a few minutes away from our beautiful baby to update you on some great deals for fall. Thank you for your patience as I get over the sleepless 3 month hump with our baby, and try and find the time to slowly but surely update Living Luxe for Less.Today on a beautiful fall walk in the park with our daughter I stumbled upon an amazing sale on my way home!Petit Bateau on Madison Avenue in NYC is actually closing their New York City location and they are having an incredible closeout sale. In fact today I purchased SEVEN items for $75! Petit Bateau's children's clothing is so soft and comfortable and timelessly chic. One of my favorite purchases was this adorable thick cotton striped dress...
I got it in grey and navy, and grey and red! It was originally $56 and I got both dresses for $15 each! I think it will be perfect for fall, and it will be so warm and comfy as we head to the park and the weather gets cooler. I have also been told that although some of Petit Bateau's clothes run small, the dresses run long so you can get a little more use out of them than some of their other items.
And even if you don't have a baby or young child, this would be a great place to stock up on shower or baby gifts. I have never met a mom who does not love this fashion French store!
After recently having a baby I have sadly found that I cannot accessorize like I used to! Every time I have on one of my rings or my favorite watch, I get nervous that it is going to scratch our little girl! And even some earrings that are long and dangly or have sharp edges make me nervous...
That is why I recently started looking for a few new pairs of round studs to complete my look while I am taking a break from my other favorite accessories.
I was shocked to discover how wide a price range there is when it comes to stud earrings...here are three classic pairs of earrings that you could spend a fortune on, or less than $50!
Would you take any of these stud earrings for less home with you?
