Were you like me and up much earlier than usual this morning? I know that it would have been just as easy to record the Royal Wedding and watch it this evening, but I was so excited to watch the royal nuptials that I couldn't help but get up at 5:00am to watch Kate and William say "I do!"
And I have to say I enjoyed every minute of the live wedding coverage. Kate and William both looked stunning...especially Princess Kate, and what I found the most moving was how in love and enamored they both are with one another.
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the big morning...
NY Times
LA Times
ABC News
And in honor of Princess Kate and her fabulous style, here is my LL4L version of the royal wedding day...not quite as fancy as Kate's ensemble, but still elegant, chic, and classic, just like the princess!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Two of my favorite places just happen to be Cape Cod and the Hermes store on Madison Avenue, so how perfect is it that Hermes has a gorgeous and classic watch named after my favorite beach town?! I have had my eye on this iconic watch for years, but unfortunately it is totally out of my price range!
So I was beyond excited when I recently discovered this similar and chic version of the wrap brown leather watch by Sasha Rhett! Isn't it gorgeous?! And the best part besides the price is that the straps are interchangeable, so you can have several looks for less for just $75 a strap!
I hope my husband knows that this is now on the TOP of my wish list!
Happy Shopping!
I have a confession to make...before I became pregnant I didn't give strollers a second thought. Yes they get you from point a to point b with your little baby in tow, but I never even considered how one goes about deciding which stroller is for them. Well now that I am expecting a baby of my own, I have become absolutely obsessed with strollers! Unfortunately there are almost too many strollers to choose from! With so many stroller options and such a varying price point of products, how does anyone go about finding the perfect one for their family?! Depending on who you ask you will get a different answer on which stroller is the best and gives you the most bang for your buck. But no matter what you are looking for in a stroller, it's hard to deny that the top of the line in strollers is the Bugaboo! Unfortunately with their most popular model of stroller, the Cameleon, starting at $880, this luxury stroller is completely over our budget! If you have your eye on the Bugaboo Cameleon, but it is a little pricey for your taste, you should check out the soon to be discontinued Bugaboo Frog!
The Frog and the Cameleon are almost identical strollers with a few minor differences like the adjustable suspension and handle bar on the Cameleon. However one positive for the Frog is that it is a lighter stroller than the Cameleon. I don't know why Bugaboo is discontinuing the Frog, but it is possible that they simply did not want two models of almost identical strollers. So if you have your heart set on a Bugaboo but the price tag is still hard for you to swallow, I suggest you invest in the newly deeply discounted Bugaboo Frogs at Albee Baby! It is so similar to the Cameleon, but almost four dollars less! Happy shopping AND STROLLING!
Here is a little Easter Inspiration with a few of my favorite things for the holiday...The Country Bunny, Cadbury Mini Eggs, Jelly Beans, and beautiful pastel polishes...now that is my kind of holiday!
Happy Easter!
Even though it is sunny in New York City today, it feels like every other day this month has been a rainy dreary day! And with Easter Sunday just around the corner and rain in the forecast again, I decided to feature some adorable and affordable weather resistant flats that are dressy enough to wear for the holiday.
Here are five of my favorite fashionable spring jellies...four are under $100, and there is one splurge!
And the splurge....
Happy Shopping and Stay Dry!
If you are like me, than anything that comes in an orange box or is adorned with an H is at the top of your wish list!
Unfortunately items from this famous luxury brand are currently not within the budget of my quickly expanding family!
So if you have your eye on this classic Hermes accessory, the wide Hermes Enamel H Bracelet, here is a beautiful and affordable alternative!
Happy Shopping!

I must admit that being 23 weeks pregnant, shopping for swimwear is NOT on the top of my TO-DO list...however, if I wasn't expecting than I would definitely be stocking up on a few bathing suits from Old Navy this spring! Although Old Navy always has a great selection of affordable bathing suits, I believe this season is their best collection yet! Here are just a few of my favorite swim options from Old Navy this spring, and look how similar they are to Shoshanna's designer line of swimwear! And here are just a few more of my favorites from Old Navy!
But the best part is that for one day only, tomorrow April 16, Old Navy will be offering 60% off all swimwear from 7:00am to 11:00am!
So what are you waiting for? This is definitely a sale that is worth waking up early for!

No matter what your budget is for your next dinner party, whether your main course be lobster or lasagna, anything you serve will look gourmet on Baccarat crystal or china!
Prices at this sale will be reduced up to 80%, so if you have your eye on any of Baccarat's designer glassware and dinnerware, now is the time to stock up!
Sale Details April 15 and 16 36 Mayfield Avenue, Edison, NJ Friday: 9:00am to 5:00pm Saturday: 9:00am to 3:00pm
Edison, New Jersey is only about a 30-40 minute trip from New York City, and besides being home to the Baccarat warehouse, this town offers a magnitude of diversity and culture in both its stores and restaurants.
In article from The New York Times three years ago, Edison was described as possibly being, "America's liveliest little India, with 400 Indian businesses that attract Indian immigrants from across the region." The mayor at the time, Jun H. Choi, even went on on to say, "If I meet an Indian anywhere, everyone knows Edison, NJ...They know Mumbai, London, and Edison." Last year I was lucky enough to visit Edison with my in-laws who took me sari shopping, and we also stocked up on a few beautiful kurti tops (tunics) and bangles. If you plan on going to Edison this weekend for the Baccarat sale, and you would also like to pick up a few tunics while you are there, I suggest stopping by Sheetal. This store specializes in Indian fashions, and has an incredible selection of women's clothing and accessories! And you can't go wrong with any of the restaurants...from the dosas and samosas, to the delicious chai tea, eating in Edison is both an exciting and affordable culinary weekend trip from the city!Happy shopping and eating!
Today I am presenting a new edition of "4 Items Under $50 and 1 Splurge Wish List!"
Today's guest host is one of my closest friends: Betsy Oliver! Betsy and I met in college and we quickly bonded over our many shared interests...including looking good for less!
Betsy has great taste, and is a master at scoring a good deal!
Betsy's "4 Items Under $50 and 1 Splurge Party Outfit"
Thanks to Jenn at LL4L for inviting me to do a guest post. I’m honored to be a part of her fabulous blog!
Well, the time has come…I’m not 29 anymore, and it seems to be happening to a lot of my friends too. However, there is an upshot to this getting old thing. It seems that with everyone turning 30, there have been and will continue to be some lovely celebrations. Lots of spring and summer soirees on the horizon—and not just birthday—graduation, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, baby showers, wedding festivities. We all know that means new clothes! Here’s my party outfit take on “4 under $50 and a SPLURGE”- Let’s start with the splurge since it’s the center of the outfit—and, it’s not TOO much of a splurge. This cheery yellow Kate Spade skirt which retails for $295 would be such a staple in any spring/summer wardrobe. It’s perfect for many occasions, depending on how you accessorize. That brings me to my first “under $50” item--the well-fitting white tee. Strange accessory? I think not! These tops from J. Crew fit very well and are the perfect blank canvas for our next item… The statement necklace. Yes, we’ve seen versions of this necklace many times in the last several seasons. However, I haven’t seen a blue as bright or fun as this one for only $38 from Fornash. No one would guess it was under $50! It stands on its own, so there’s no need for a fancy blouse with this skirt. The blue is a fun addition to yellow—great for spring! You don’t want to compete with the bow detailing on the skirt or the glamorous necklace, so keep your shoes simple. Plus, they should be comfortable if you’ll be dancing and socializing! Try these easy gold flats from—who would have thought?—Old Navy!No spring outfit would be complete without perfectly polished feet. This hot pink Essie color adds one more fun bit of color without being too much. And, how could we resist the name? “Fiesta!” Thank you Betsy for your great tips on how to look good for less at any spring party! I am going to buy this beautiful necklace ASAP!Happy Shopping!
