One of my favorite stores, J. Mclaughlin, is having their annual winter sale, and let me tell you...it is good!  The company just marked everything down to it's final reductions yesterday, and many items are up to 75% off!

Dresses are marked down from $185 to $59.90, and some sweaters are marked down from $289 to $89!

More than a few of these items are calling my name.  And the great thing about so many of these pieces is that they are not just for winter...the dresses, accessories, and tops could transition you well into spring.  Do you see anything here that you would like to splurge on?

As someone who loves color, I couldn't be happier to see so many bright and fun colors out for this spring season.

One of my favorite looks for this spring is a pop of kelly green with basics like black, navy, or white to brighten up your look.

Here are a few of my favorite ways to pop kelly green into your wardrobe...all for $100 or less!

Will you be wearing any kelly green this spring?

I plan on ordering this pair of green skinny jeans from Nordstrom!

As long as I can remember I have lived in a family of (mostly) Giants fans.  So when the Giants make it to the play-offs it is a big deal in my household!

Whether you are a fan of Big Blue, or any of the other teams playing this weekend, my guess is that many of you will still be cozying up to watch the NFL play-off games.

And what's a football game without some good drinks and tasty snacks?

_I have written about my love of Prosecco in this blog before, and recently I tasted a new variety, Pasqua Prosecco, that is super affordable at $9.99, and also delicious.  So if you are tired of the more common Zardetto or Mionetto varieties that you may have tried before, this is definitely worth giving a try!  It is light and crispy, and slightly dry, but also has some fruity undertones.

_And for all you beer drinkers, which I will probably be this weekend, I recommend Dale's Pale Ale.  It's the most upscale beer in a can I have ever tasted (sorry PBR), and at $8.99 for a case, it is less expensive than many microbrew 6 packs.  But just as tasty in my opinion!

Now bring on the food!

I know many of you probably are still fresh from your New Year's Resolutions to eat healthy in 2012, but that doesn't mean that you can't enjoy a few lower calorie snacks while you veg out on the couch this weekend.  Here are some healthy snack ideas that will probably be on my coffee table this weekend!

Sabra Hummus with Pinenuts or Greek Spinach Dip (courtesy of Stacey's Snacks) and Stacy's Pita Chips (my favorite hummus and chip combo)

Salted and Roasted Almonds (super salty and crunchy, but such a healthy snack)

Guacamole and Tostitos Natural Blue Corn Chips (check out this recipe for guacamole from Dos Caminos!)

Will you be watching the games this weekend?  If so, what will you be eating and drinking???

Go G-Men!

_Happy New Year!
I'm so sorry for my absence here at LL4L!  As many of you know we had our first child in August, and it has definitely been an adjustment for me getting used to life with baby.  And then once I finally started to get the swing of things the holidays came around and we were busy once again!

My New Year's Resolution is to dedicate more time to me and things that I love...and one of those things is writing this blog!  So I hope to keep good on my promise to you to ( at least a few times a week) share some quick and affordable ways for you to live the good life for less this year.

What are your New Year's Resolutions?  Is there anything you want to see more of here?  I have had a few readers inquire about looks for the post baby body, and how to look good on the slopes for less, so those are some fun ideas you have to look forward to...

Today I wanted to share with you a great deal I just got on a pretty Lilly Pulitzer clutch.  I saw this Lilly Pulitzer Gold Elephant Clutch on the Zappos website and I fell in love with it's elegant but versatile look.  I just did not love the $128 pricetag!
_So I did some searching online and I found this bag for more than 50% off on two different sites!

I just bought this gold elephant bag for $58 online at The Village Palm!

And the navy version of this bag is also on sale at Simply Soles for $64!

Have you scored any great deals this week?
